Job description: We are looking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic marketing professional to join the University’s Marketing, Communications and Recruitment team. Working closely with colleagues in the three Faculties, the successful candidate will support the development and delivery of marketing and marketing requirements relating to the University’s undergraduate and postgraduate course portfolio.

The role will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing activities, across a range of innovative projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information to support successful student recruitment in line with Competition and Markets Authority requirements. The postholder will also undertake market research to inform course portfolio management and development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent relationship management skills and an ability and confidence to present and report to key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience of planning, implementation, and evaluation of marketing activities
  • Understanding of marketing concepts and applications
  • Experience of managing a diverse workload, and the ability to multi-task concurrent projects
  • Experience of conducting and presenting market research

You will be able to work effectively and flexibly on a range of projects and to tight deadlines. You’ll have experience of writing, editing and proofing engaging copy for a range of audiences and marketing channels. An excellent communicator, you will be able to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious and professional, in-house Marketing, Communications and Recruitment department which has clear priorities and targets to deliver.

Working days will typically be Monday to Friday, although some weekend and evening work may be required on occasion as agreed with the line manager.

This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.

£37,099 to £39,347 in Grade 7a, depending on qualifications and experience.
