- Champion and lead our transition to Secure by Design. Developing new approaches, relationships and supporting culture to achieve a step change to our approach of continuous assurance
- Act as the senior cyber advisors to the development and delivery of our digital, collaborative, engineering, and environments/networks. You will also lead specialist team members in their support to these outcomes
- Identify, advance, advise and introduce innovative technology and non-technological methods to drive up cyber security standards nationally and internationally
- Support FCAS Head of Information and Cyber in building the broader team, developing team member’s technical and non-technical skills along with growing the right culture for our long-term success
- Maintain up to date knowledge of current and future threats along with new and emerging technologies, systems, methods, and capabilities to influence future strategies/working practices. This is both at a national and international level
- Support FCAS risk assessments and ongoing management, including supply chain assurance / enablement efforts
- Develop and maintain strong trusting relationships across wider BAE Air Sector, BAE Cyber professionals across other sectors and key stakeholders across UK MOD, UK Industry partners and our GCAP trilateral partners in both their MODs and Industries
Your skills and experiences:Essential:
- An understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cyber security threats
- Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following (Secure by Design, IDAM, SOC, Cloud Security, zero trust architectures, threat modelling, incident response, penetration testing, digital engineering capabilities and infrastructure)
- Experience within risk management and information assurance
Desirables:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent worked experience) preferably in a related discipline
- Possesses relevant and current industry qualifications and certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CCP)
