We are undergoing a huge transformation across all areas of the business, with a focus on people and technology, and our mission is to give people easier access to our world class legal services.We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team in Manchester, In this role you will be acting as a key link between the Finance System, Commercial and FP&A teams, where you will focus on understanding, accessing and interpreting Group data that can be used for analysis purposes.This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day and project based analysis, supporting the Commercial and FP&A functions in their ability to deliver on key objectives, which will include the creation of projects and tracking of delivery.Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with the Finance Systems team
- Access and interpret large data sets
- Support both the FP&A Analyst and Commercial Finance Business Partner
- Clearly articulate data driven insights
- Ensure data strategies will support improvements in analysis
- Support with scoping out how to perform analysis
About You:
- Microsoft Excel (advanced) level
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience of using Data visualisation tools
- Has a general grasp of SQL (or has experience with code free tools)
- Ability to manage and dissect large data
- Organizes and prioritizes workload appropriately
