Job description: Are you an ambitious and highly analytical finance professional seeking a step up in responsibilities and an opportunity within an internationally acclaimed business?We have recently partnered with a logistics firm based in Grays who turnover £2 billion to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their established finance team.They are ideally looking to talented Finance Analyst within the local area to take responsibility for a wide variety of financial reporting and analysis, and they are offering a competitive salary up to £28,000, annual bonuses, study support, a clear route for progression and more market-leading benefits.What you will do:
- Responsible for data interpretation and providing insight into financial performance across the Group’s four divisions.
- Producing accurate and timely financial reports – orchestrating weekly and monthly P&L reports.
- Producing variance analysis, sales v margin analysis, cost analysis.
- Delivering a variety of reports/analysis to key stakeholders regularly.
- Supporting the finance team with month-end procedures.
- Contributing to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the team.
What you will need:
- Previous experience as a Finance Analyst / Accounts Assistant
- Experience in producing financial reports.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Studying towards an AAT/ACCA qualification.
