We guarantee quality, reliability and an end-to-end solution that ensures a cost-effective robust route to market.Your role: As Production Analyst your role will be an essential part of the Newsprinters finance team, reporting directly into the Newsprinters Senior Finance Manager – Production and Logistics.Day to day you will:
- Calculation of weekly and monthly direct production costs including Newsprint, Ink, and Plates
Reporting of all Newsprint waste metrics, including performance against target, calculation of revenue and costs.Calculation of the weekly and monthly revenue recharges to shareholders, including Newsprint, Ink and Plates.Preparing the budget and forecast for direct production costs and revenue recharges to Shareholders including Newsprint, Ink, Plates and Sale of waste.Accounting for Newsprint Purchasing overhead cost centre, including preparation of budget and forecast for the Newsprint Purchasing cost centre, calculation of any applicable recharges, and monthly reporting.Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of queries.Regular review of Ink and Plate prices in conjunction with contracts.Additional work supporting the wider Newsprinters Finance team will be required.Flagging any risks or opportunities.Some travel to print sites to meet with Business Stakeholders.What we are looking for from you:
- Actively studying ACCA, CIMA or the equivalent.
