As a global Network of brands, we are operating in a very dynamic environment with multiple affiliates and new acquisitions each year, supported by global solutions across the entire publishing process. In this context, we are looking for an energetic Finance Manager to join our OUS Finance team in the WebMD Global offices in Paris, France reporting to the Finance Director of the WebMD Global business. In this position you will work closely with stakeholders across the OUS business (mostly but not exclusively in France, Germany and UK) and the head office in New York, USA, in particular the US-based finance function.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Accounting: (can be extended to include other OUS businesses in the future)
- Owning the monthly closings of two French subsidiaries, including the preparation of variance reports for budget holders.
- Being responsible for the sales invoicing and credit control of all JIM’s projects, the processing and coding of all purchase invoices for JIM and Pulsepoint.
- Managing all balance sheet reconciliations for the two French subsidiaries and working with our external accountant to ensure all statutory filings are timely and accurate.
- Over time, the expectation is that this role will encompass working with other OUS subsidiaries as well as JIM and Pulsepoint.
- Pulsepoint: Concur. Having access to PP email, sending the invoices to relevant approvers, coding the invoices etc.
- FP&A: (can be extended to include other OUS businesses in the future)
Support the Finance Director and Senior Finance Manager across the OUS business with the budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly variance analyses to drive increased accountability and visibility.
Improve, automate and homogenize reports & analyses produced for management.Integration & Operations (can be extended to include other OUS businesses in the future)All OUS businesses (currently Aptus, MGP, Coliquio & Mediquality):
Work alongside the OUS Finance Director and Senior Finance Manager to drive automation, optimisation and streamlining of processes and reporting both internally to the subsidiaries and externally to other stakeholders.
Act as sounding board and external resource to OUS finance and operations teams.Dynamics 365:
Assisting with the roll out of this new software and the integration of various OUS subsidiaries.Skills, Requirement & Experience:
- 3-5 years experience.
- Finance qualification (University degree with experience of French accounting).
- Solid level of Excel and comfortable using multiple softwares.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards.
- Fluent English and French is essential (Spanish or German would be a plus).
