Job description: The Finance Business Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial services provided by the company. This position involves analysing financial data and providing insightful reports to the management team.

The Finance Business Analyst duties include;

  • Assist with transition of data from the old environment to the new Professional Services Automation systems.
  • Assist with weekly business reports analysing chargeable time, revenue, revenue per hour, staff utilisation and capacity and similar monthly reporting for the board packs.
  • Assist with analysing the WIP balances, recoverability and trends. Ensuring reconciliations of all WIP on a monthly basis.
  • Help develop client profitability reporting and service line profitability
  • Assist with Budget process for revenue and contribution reporting.
  • Produce forecasting on a rolling quarterly basis
  • Build relationships across the business with Partners and senior consultants to be able to effectively challenge and support all areas of the business.

Hybrid working|Immediate start

A successful Finance Business Analyst should have:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (preferred)
  • High quality financial modelling and Excel skills. Use of Power BI or equivalent reporting tools
  • A highly commercial outlook, comfortable focusing on enhancing performance and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and margin improvement
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to respond to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Understanding of professional business services and finance requirements within
  • Articulate and clear communicator with the ability to partner and influence effectively within the business
