Cox Automotive International currently operates businesses in UK, Australia, New Zeeland, Brazil, many European countries (including Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, and Portugal), and China.Cox Automotive International operates business units focused on; physical and online wholesale vehicle exchanges for dealers, fleet, leasing companies and manufacturers, logistics to transport vehicles between buyers and sellers, onsite and offsite physical services to assess and recondition vehicles, inventory management platforms and solutions clients, retail solutions providing software and services to support new and used vehicle marketplaces, and financing for dealer floor plans.The Role:
You will lead the Finance function for the International division and will:
- take full responsibility for reviews of monthly financial results with local finance teams • consolidation of monthly financial reporting from local markets
- lead the budgeting process including establishing timelines and setting targets for local markets
- support the accounting for Corporate Service functions within the International team
- monitor and review monthly forecasts to assess risks and opportunities for the division
- present consolidated financial results to International President and International CFO
- prepare financial reporting for international division to global executive leadership team
- provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the needs of International President, International CFO, International CPO and global finance team
- support the ERM programme across International
You will lead a team of financial managers/analysts in becoming trusted advisors to market CFOs and market finance directors by partnering to help them deliver financial commitments, serving as conduit between the global finance team and markets to maintain alignment on strategic direction and best practice sharing and sharing insights and analysis to support growth and improve profitability. As a leader you will engage and motivate team members, managing their work assignments, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables, and providing team members with regular feedback. You will be a true ambassador of Cox Automotive values and instil them in our team through your commitment to both our business objectives and our customers.You will work in a matrix environment that will require the ability to partner with key stakeholders to assess and met their requirements. You will need to influence strategic direction, collaborate and coordinate with diverse teams and communicate effectively to ensure teams remain aligned on delivery of financial commitments.You will monitor the development and execution of commercial strategies to ensure that they add value Cox Automotive. You will work closely with the international leadership team and local finance teams to review, challenge and support achievement of business objectives through robust analysis of supporting data to enable the business to grow sustainably. You will lead the standardization of financial practices across international and facilitate best practices sharing across the marketsThe Person:
