  • Provide analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Support the Business Partner for Operations by building relationship with wider Circulation leads
  • Use data driven analysis and insight to support the Business Partner for Operations
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Analyse large volumes of data to identify trends, performance, opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with other functions to identify key business trends and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, to ensure high-quality output.
  • Prepare quarterly presentations for senior management, including financial forecasts, budgets and variance analysis.
  • Ensure all reporting is delivered within agreed deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for process efficiency and optimisation.
  • Work closely with different departments to ensure data integrity and resolve any accordingly.

QualificationsSkills

  • Strong knowledge of profit and loss management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical financial information into relevant and actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience of building analytics capabilities and delivering business intelligence that contributes to decision-making.
  • Strong experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and understanding of SQL would be an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant or qualified through relevant experience in an accounting role.
  • Previous experience in financial analysis, modelling, and decision support roles.
  • Ability to manage teams and develop and motivate team members.
  • Experience in engaging with stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide relevant financial information and insights.
  • Experience in working within a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including creating financial models.
  • Experience with financial and business intelligence tools would be an advantage.
