Job Overview:

Are you an experienced accountant interested in joining the head office finance team of a NASDAQ listed multinational? This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Financial Accountant, you will be at the heart of our UK reporting team delivering timely and accurate financials for the largest company in the Arm group.

Responsibilities:

– Key member of the team responsible for the financial reporting and monthly management accounts for Arm Ltd, Arm Holdings Plc, Apical Ltd and Arm Ireland Ltd
– Responsible for preparing group-wide financial calculations including payroll accruals and share-based compensation journal entries
– Detailed financial analysis: identify, investigate, explain and, where appropriate, resolve variances against trend across the entire suite of our financial reports.
– Main contact for external and internal audits: preparing and providing audit deliverables on a timely and efficient basis
– Prepare regular and ad-hoc reporting as needed including national statistics, business surveys and requests from our Tax and Finance Business Partner teams
– Ensuring that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems, services and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

– Passionate about implementing new and existing technologies to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the financial close
– Able to proactively identify areas for potential improvement and collaborate with other teams to design and then implement a shared solution
– Qualified or part qualified Accountant with knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
– Attention to detail and accuracy with demonstrable experience in transactional accounting
– Advanced MS Excel Skills

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

– Familiar with UK and Irish VAT rules
– Experience working in SAP S4 Hana
