Job description: Butler Rose is working with a leading business in East Cornwall to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.
This is a key role for the organisation where you will support the Finance Manager and work with various non-finance departments across the wider business.
Key duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
- Manage external audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Control of overhead expenditure and reporting
- Involvement in budgeting and forecasting
- KPI monitoring and reporting
- Business partnering with non-finance departments such as operations and engineering
- Evaluate current processes and make improvements as necessary
- Provide ad hoc information in a timely manner, as required by the business
- Use of MS Excel and internal accounting system
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who is used to working in a fast-paced environment and has a good commercial awareness. Manufacturing or FMCG experience is desirable although not essential.
