Job description: Morgan McKinley is pleased to be supporting our Bristol based client. They are looking for a progressive Financial Accounting Manager. This Financial Accounting Manager role is a chance to work for an incredibly exciting, successful, and resilient company.

This Financial Accounting Manager role offers growth and succession planning whilst working closely with the external stakeholder and the wider organisation.

The role includes but not limited to, (and most certainly welcomes the employee to grow the position further):

• Managing a small team including training and development of team members
• Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders
• Reviewing and approving accounts for sign off
• Manage and Devlier SLAs, internal deadlines, contract and statutory delivery dates
• Overseeing the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Be a critical part of process development and implementation

The ideal candidate experience:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified – Minimum 3 years PQE experience
• Team management experience
• Strong technical understanding of balance sheet and financial statements
• Robust knowledge of accounts preparation and audit
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment
