CV Screen is recruiting for a Financial Controller for our client based in Cannock. The role will oversee a group of three companies with a combined turnover of £25M. The successful Financial Controller will be responsible for developing and updating systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company finances, this is a hands-on role where you will manage five members of staff within the finance department. The role will require regular travel to another site.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company finances.
– Provide high level management accounts to the board.
– Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control.
– To develop and control a centralised accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed.
– Recommend changes that will improve the company’s financial performance and financial controls.
Skills / Attributes Required
– Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
– Previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing Financial Control across a group of companies.
– Experience of managing staff within the Accounts department.
– Experience of EFACS would be desirable.
– Skilled and Proficient with EXCEL Spread Sheets
Salary
Salary is up to £55,000
Location
The position is based in Cannock
You will be required to travel to another site on a regular basis.
