Job description: Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to cover a maternity leave of circa 15 months.
The role is varied and includes:* Own and manage both the monthly management accounting routines and the annual
forecasting and budgeting process.
- Review business processes within the Finance function; identify and drive
improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
- Responsible for the submission of the statutory accounts in a timely and
accurate manner.
- Work with Government agencies in applications for grants.
- Monitor closely the financial impacts of volatile movements in the energy market.
- Oversee the annual product costing process in SAP.
- Support customer, segment, and branch profitability processes.
- Provide accurate information to the Group Business Support team in relation to
monthly results reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Work together with the various support teams in Poland to drive improved efficiency.
- Ensure minimum controls are maintained within the Architectural business and have
full responsibility for compliance.
- Drive improvements in working capital through the careful management, reporting,
and forecasting of inventories, receivables, and payables. Support working capital
steering committees as required.
- Report on major capex projects and monitor expenditure to ensure that senior
management are kept informed of significant deviations to plan.

Ideally you will be:
- CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Proficiency in SAP
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Flexibility in hours
- Hybrid working
- Circa £65,000 salary
- 25 days holiday per annum plus declared public holidays.
- Up to 25% of basic salary (based on business targets)

- Long term contract circa 15 -18 months
