Job description

A large well known financial services practice with 4 offices in Scotland is currently expanding and looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • To work with the Directors, Advisers and Paraplanners in all aspects of administration support
  • Good knowledge of platforms and providers
  • Submission of new business and inputting of data in the back-office system (Intelliflo)
  • Liaise with providers to obtain relevant client, product and Fund Manager information for Advisers and Paraplanners to analyse and include within advice reports
  • To produce personalised illustrations/key features documents/product literature etc. within laid down timescales. Completion of applications ready for client signature
  • Provide technical support dealing with income drawdown and knowledge of income and capital gains tax required
  • Working knowledge of running various FE Analytics reports as required by Advisers
  • Annual reviews including preparation of pre-meeting documentation, task control and checking of data produced pre-issue
  • Fund switches and rebalances, checking peer work

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience in the financial planning profession
  • Excellent relationship builder and communicator
  • Excellent IT skills and comfortable using a variety of financial planning software
