Job description: Aviation Connection are proud to be working in partnership with Newrest, a leading airline caterer based in Manor Royal, Crawley.

This is an exciting opportunity for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH A FLT LICENCE working in the Inflight Supplies warehouse as part of a team.

Hours: Must be fully flexible to work shifts between 0600-2300

Shifts: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Pay rate: £14.06

Start date: ASAP

Duties of the Goods in Warehouse Operative:

  • Organising incoming goods
  • Unpack the products from the primary packaging and place onto hanging rails
  • Repack the items and ensure that the packaging meets client specification
  • Using handheld scanners to find and place goods appropriately.
  • Assisting with the shipment of orders by helping to load/unload the lorries ready for delivery.
  • Communicating with all staff to ensure operations run correctly.

Requirements of the Goods In Warehouse Operative:

  • Good written and verbal communications
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to lift items up to 15kg
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Forklift licence

In order to comply with strict aviation security regulations, due to the nature of this role we will be undertaking a full five-year reference history and apply for a Basic DBS, criminal record check before starting this position. Any applicants with non – UK based references will require the appropriate DBS check + translation of documents, and any gaps in employment must be accounted for.
