Job Description
Are you passionate about food and hospitality? We are currently seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Manager to lead our team at our Didsbury Casino, to provide our guests with a culinary experience like no other. You will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of our food and beverage operations, from event planning to team development, and ensuring that we adhere to the highest safety and health standards. Your financial expertise will also be put to good use as you keep track of our expenses and ensure that we stay within budget. What we expect of you:
- Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility and Solutions
- Collaborate and work as part of the wider casino management team
- Recruit, train, develop and retain chefs and kitchen personnel; create plans for the team by agreed objectives and goals in appraisals and reviews
- Responsible for stock control and achieving business GP margins
- Schedules and organizes regular menu taste panels for the Front Of House team
- Manages and meets the expectations of the Shield, EHO and relevant audits
- Work with and support the review and development of menus with the Food & Beverage support team
- All menus are delivered to brand standards and menu specification
- Manages expectations behind the pass as well as in the casino, driving customer and employee engagement
Qualifications
To be successful for this role you’ll ideally have good experience as an assistant or general manager within a high performing food & beverage business. You should be able to demonstrate experience with finance management along with a very strong understanding of the F&B world. You’ll need a level 2 food safety qualification as a minimum and will have very strong experience not only managing large teams but delivering a high level of customer service across various disciplines.
