Here at BaxterStorey we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Food, Health & Safety Coordinator. As the Food, Health & Safety Coordinator you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting high standards of safety performance across BaxterStorey.

Job Description
- You will monitor the Food, Health & Safety inbox and provide an initial response to food, health and safety enquires.
- Review accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following an accident, food incident or near miss.
- Review audit reports to ensure action plans necessary corrective actions have been taken and deal with any appeals.
- You will escalate specific enquires and incident investigations to the Regional Food, Health & Safety Managers.
- Create monthly safety performance reports and presentations.
- Submit food business registrations for new locations.
- Maintain and organise mobilisation tools for new locations.
- Coordinate the development of monthly safety newsletters and quarterly patch packs.
- Liaise with local authorities (EHO) following visits and action plans and submit any reapplications.
- Update and maintain Food, Health & Safety documentation on the Vine.
- Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and health and safety management software
- Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Keep up to date with appropriate legislation and company policy and procedures
- Experience of working within retail, leisure, hospitality or contract catering sectors or safety role
NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Level 4 Food Safety
