Job description: Staffline is recruiting a Food Production Operative to work at our client’s busy meat processing plant in Colne.Successful Candidates will be responsible for handling and packaging pork, beef and lamb products.The rate of pay is:
– AM and PM up to 26 weeks £10.52 per hour, over 26 weeks £10.92 per hour
– Nights up to 26 weeks £13.92 and over 26 weeks is £14.32 per hourThis is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, the hours of work are:– 5:30am/6am starts – until FinishYour Time at WorkAs a Food Production Operative at this site, you will be working in a chilled environment. Your duties include:– Packing meat products into boxes and trays – Including Pork, Beef and Lamb
– Weighing products
– Labelling items
– Stacking items in preparation for ordersOur Perfect WorkerOur ideal Food Production Operative is reliable, can work to targets and deadlines, and is flexible in their approach to work. You will be a fast learner and able to multi-task well, you’ll also be open to taking on new tasks and learning new skills.You will be a strong communicator and will work well alone as well as part of a team.Some manual handling will be involved in this role, so you must be comfortable with this.Workers must be able to handle meat including pork, beef and lamb.No experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided onsite.Key Information and Benefits– Earn £10.52- £14.32 p/h
