Job description: Our client is an award winning, family run business in the Darlington area. We are looking for a reliable and ambitious Food Production Operative on a temporary ongoing basis.
What will my role look like?
As a Food Production Operative you will be responsible for the smooth running of the production line, loading machines, picking, packing and adhering to all Health and Safety requirements.

Hourly rate: £11.50 (overtime paid after 39 hours)
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 05.00 – 14.30 and Saturday 05.00 – 08.00.

Your duties will include:
- Achieving daily output targets
- Loading machines with raw ingredients
- Helping the production line run smoothly
- Adhering to Health and Safety at all times
- Packing of finished products
- Ensuring correct product labelling
To be considered for the role of Food Production Operative, you must have:
- Excellent punctuality
- Experience of working in an FMCG food manufacturing environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods
- Professional attitude to work
- Able to work with own initiative
- Able to maintain strong attention to detail whilst continuously quality checking products
- Reliable and able to commit to the relevant shift pattern
