Job description: Are you looking for a new challenge?Established in 1983, our client has grown to become a leading wholesale supplier of meat products in the North East of England. There is an opportunity for Food Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.What will my role look like?As a Food Production Operative, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the production line, loading machines with raw ingredients and adhering to all Health and Safety requirements.Their culture is built on respect, teamwork, ambition and excellence, if you think you represent these values then please get in touch.Hourly rate: £11.50Weekly shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 07.00 – 16.00Your duties will include:
- Achieving daily output targets
- Loading machines with raw ingredients
- Helping the production line run smoothly
- Adhering to Health and Safety at all times
- Packing of finished products
- Ensuring correct product labelling
To be considered for the role of Food Production Operative, you must have:
- Excellent punctuality
- Experience of working in an FMCG food manufacturing environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods
- Professional attitude to work
- Able to work with own initiative
- Able to maintain strong attention to detail whilst continuously quality checking products
- Reliable and able to commit to the relevant shift pattern
