Due to booming order book we are looking for Food Production Operatives to start immediately after successful interviews. Any food production/manufacturing background would be preferred, the client is looking for a candidates who want long term work rather than a stop gap job.

You will be working for a family run business in Mansfield who have been around for over 30 years and are a major food manufacturer, they are a sustainable business who look after their staff.

  • £11.00ph with further increases down the line
  • Temp to permanent after a successful 12 weeks
  • Long term work with great prospects for candidates that want to progress
  • Monday to Friday, 6.30am starts until mid-afternoon
  • Some days you may work until past 4pm and there may be later finishes too, you will need to stay as this will get you a permanent contract

The role of Food Production Operative

You will be working in a fast paced, chilled production environment where you will wear PPE (hair net and white jacket) while performing a variety of duties:

  • Handballing Kebabs off of production lines (this is physically demanding)
  • Measuring specific volumes of ingredients accurately
  • Slicing products
  • Hygiene of the site including cleaning down using chemicals
  • Loading and unloading containers

Excellent work ethic is needed as contracts are on offer.

Please note there can be a smell in the environment due to working with raw meat.

Excellent prospects for temp to perm after a successful 12 weeks. The company are looking for long term candidates who want to progress.
