Are you a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a thriving educational environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team at a Secondary School in Lewisham on a temporary, full-time basis from the 2nd of January 2024 until the end of the academic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the love of food and cooking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Food Technology.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
