Job description: Are you an experienced Food Technician able to plan, prepare and deliver informative and engaging lessons to Secondary School students? Job Type:

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£160 – £200 Per day

Role Requirements:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative food technology lessons to students
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ learning experiences
  • Assess, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on students’ work to support their progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and resources

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Food Technology or related field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of food technology concepts and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively engage and motivate students
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities

Working Conditions:

The Food Technology Teacher role involves working in a secondary school setting, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. The position requires full-time hours and may involve additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings.
