Job Type:
Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary:
£160 – £200 Per day
Role Requirements:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative food technology lessons to students
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ learning experiences
- Assess, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on students’ work to support their progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and resources
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Food Technology or related field
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of food technology concepts and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate students
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities
Working Conditions:
The Food Technology Teacher role involves working in a secondary school setting, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. The position requires full-time hours and may involve additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings.
