About the role

The ideal Food Technology teacher will be keen and passionate, willing to work effectively as part of a team and can motivate and support others. As the Teacher of Food Technology you will be encouraged to develop your skills in a well-resourced, supportive environment. It is important that the Food Technology teacher has high expectations of pupil’s achievement and a strong commitment to raising standards.

About the school

This role is working in range of large secondary schools in Pocklington. The schools are all commited to providing quality CPD for long term staff and have excellent senior and middle management who are commited to ensuring your job role is as easy and smooth as possible.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Food Technology you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent teaching experience in the last 2 years for at least 2 weeks.
  • Have relevant food hygeine and H&S certificates
  • Have a passion for food and the processes of manufacturing.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
