GSL Education Hull are currently recruiting a Food Technology Teacher to work at a progressive academy in the Hull area. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate educator who will inspire young people with the wonders of food technology. Food Technology Teacher Role:
The successful Food Technology Teacher will be working within an energetic and creative team, focusing on:

  • Delivering dynamic and interactive lessons that capture students’ imaginations.
  • Incorporating theoretical aspects of food technology into teaching.
  • Collaborating with colleagues on innovative teaching materials.
  • Assessing and providing feedback to aid student progress.

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent with QTS in Food Technology, Hospitality/Catering, or Food Science.
  • Have recent experience teaching KS3 and KS4; KS5 is advantageous.
  • Be passionate about Food Technology with a strong subject command.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and effective classroom management.
  • Be a committed professional focused on continuous improvement.
