The School and Role

ABC Teachers are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to work in a Secondary School in Solihull. You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive educational environment committed to providing an exceptional learning environment for students. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for this role. This position offers the opportunity for the possibility of becoming a permanent member of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to secondary school students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements

The successful Food Technology Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of Food Technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
