Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Food Technology teacher to join one of our client schools in the Peterborough area. You would be joining an inclusive and welcoming school that believes all students, regardless of their starting point, should be guided and supported equally in their school careers. A successful candidate should hold the same values.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge.
- A passion for teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing effective lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, marking, assessments, feedback, work with other staff to ensure constant evolution and progress of delivery of subject to ensure student progress.
- Ensure all students have the opportunity to learn and ensure all student participation.
- Encouraging student participation and fostering a passion for science through practical experiments and hands-on activities.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting appropriate learning targets.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the school’s science department and academic program.
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the students’ learning experience.
