Randstad is currently in search of a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team and work in a school situated in Wigan. As a Secondary Food Technology Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and educating students in the captivating realms of food, nutrition, and culinary skills.
The ideal candidate for this Food Technology Teacher position in Wigan is an innovative and dedicated educator with a passion for motivating students in the culinary arts. Job Role: Secondary Education Food Technology Teacher
Pay Rate: £140.00 – £220.00
Area of work: Wigan

Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans
- Teach allocated classes and provide a well-planned, challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop a self-directed learning approach, utilising technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and promptly mark
- Ensure high-quality teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning
