We can’t wait to meet you!We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Sourcer to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Data Sourcer, you will be responsible for prospecting and gathering data to support lead generation efforts for our clients. This includes researching target industries and companies, identifying key contacts, and collecting relevant data to provide accurate and up-to-date leads. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the UK.Responsibilities
- Research and identify target industries, companies, and key contacts
- Collect and compile relevant data for lead generation
- Use various tools and platforms to extract data and build comprehensive lists
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness through regular validation and verification
- Create reports and summaries of collected data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lead generation efforts
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes to ensure data relevancy
- Experience in sourcing the following lead data; email address, first name, last name, linked-in url, company name, job title, location, deliverability check for example.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Sourcer, Data Researcher, or similar role
- Strong research and data gathering skills
- Proficient in using data tools and platforms
- Ability to collect and compile large volumes of data
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and validation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead generation processes
- Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) – This can be arranged at point of job offer.
- Freelancer Professional Indemnity Insurance – This can be arranged at point of job offer.
- Experience with data validation and verification techniques
- Knowledge of lead generation strategies and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google Sheets
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements
- Experience working with Lead Generation Tools for example Lem List etc.
- Understands how to run a lead generation campaign from warm up to end of process.
- Experience in crafting messaging, offer and copy for outreach emails and messages on various social platforms like Linked-In.
- Must have access and subscriptions to all of the main data sourcing tools and software.
An Example of the type of data that would be required;Data needed: email address, first name, last name, linkedin url, company name, job title, location, deliverability checkBackground: We are trying to source 400 leads for a biotech company that is fundraising. Their product helps people who are suffering from prostate cancer. This can also help kids. Therefore we are trying to find VC investors that invest in ‘cancer’ in ‘prostate’ or ‘pediatric’ companies.Sample sheetJob Title: Investment Analyst, Fund Manager, Chief Investment Officer (key decision makers)Size of company: 1-10, 11-50+Location: United States, United Kingdom + any other country other than ChinaType of company: Early-stage Biotech (phase 1-2) investors, VC or family office, with focus on oncology, endocrinology, and men’s health.Recommended Process: Use was the screening tool I was thinking of which is a great souce as screened for “prostate” and “pediatric”Side note: Make sure to include these companies, and as many people as possible from each one that fit the ideal customer profile above.

This will enable us to work with our client to ensure a fair renumeration is agreed for both parties.
