Job description: A family office based in South West London is looking to appoint a fund accountant into a new position, reporting directly to the CEO. The incumbent will be responsible for servicing a number of Jersey based structures for a venture capital portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review of year-end financial statements for all Jersey investment funds and SPV
- Oversight of the Jersey based administrators on admin matters such as shareholders consents, board resolutions, board meetings, etc
- Oversight of cash positions in investment vehicles and cash flow management and monitoring
- Setting out valuations on a quarterly basis in line with valuation framework and IPEV
- Assisting in the quarterly reporting on portfolio & investments to shareholders & investors
- Portfolio analysis on an ad-hoc basis
Our requirements include:
- Newly qualified accountant or has at least made some progress through an accountancy qualification.
- Prior closed-end fund accounting experience – private equity/debt etc.
- Must be readily available (will not consider notice periods longer than one month)
Compensation is in the region of £60,000-70,000 basic salary coupled with a performance based bonus. Hybrid working is on offer.
