We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with significant experience in all aspects of primary care small animal practice to be part of a vibrant and exciting veterinary team.
The Opportunity:
Based at the Easter Bush Campus, Edinburgh, you will be responsible for a share of our first opinion feline and canine caseload, clinical undergraduate teaching and supporting core clinical research activities. We are situated within the Hospital for Small Animals, Royal(Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and have access to state of the art facilities including an on-site MRI facility, CT scanner and a wealth of other diagnostic modalities. The role offers the post holder an outstanding opportunity to develop an exciting career in the primary care sector with ample scope to develop novel interests and clinical skills. The post holder will join a dynamic team who are committed to delivering excellent patient and client care whilst also training the next generation of primary care veterinarians. In addition to final year clinical teaching, which constitutes the majority of the role, the post holder would have the opportunity to be involved in teaching in Years 1-4, with a focus on primary care, professional skills and contextualised care.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- RCVS registered or eligible at time of appointment
- Appropriate English language qualifications where applicable
- Experience in small animal practice
- Experience of teaching and/or research is beneficial
- Post graduate clinical qualifications would be welcomed but are not essential
