Job description: We have an amazing opportunity for a Girlswear Designer to join the Childrenswear Design team of a highly successful fashion supplier.
The Girlswear Designer will work across multi products for high street accounts, focussing on older girlswear.
Girlswear Designer Responsibilities;
- Attend customer meetings, work to set briefs and present ranges
- Create detailed tech packs to be sent to factories overseas
- Carry out trend and market research
- Keep in mind overall strategy and product potential when designing ranges, in order to introduce new trend driven products into ranges
- Monitor and update the critical path
Additional Information
The Girlswear Designer will have some previous experience working with high street customers, with good knowledge of garment construction and an excellent understanding of the current market.
