Description Global Head of IT – Software Company

A leading, billion pound revenue software company is seeking a Head of IT due to some impressive growth over the last few years. With over 1000 users and offices in over 20 countries, this is an exciting role for a Global Head of IT to come on board and develop IT across the board. You’ll have the chance to work in a dynamic team with various stakeholders across the globe.

Reporting to the CISO, you will be helping shape the IT strategy, implementing best practice with a focus on security and risk management. The Global Head of IT will be given the support to stamp their mark on projects and focus on supplier management, oversight of cloud services (Azure), managing relationships with 3rd party partners and maintaining companies security and data policies. You will also be involved in helping negotiate contracts with service providers such as Microsoft and Amazon in a hands on role whilst having 3 direct reports.

Global Head of IT requirements:

  • Proven IT management experience and qualifications in a tech company
  • Understanding across systems, security, cloud, network, sys admin and data storage
  • Knowledge across Microsoft / Azure / O365 ecosystem
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder management and leaderships skills
  • Good knowledge of latest IT and security policies, standards and best practice
