What you will be doing
As the successful candidate, you will be reporting to the Research Director, and the purpose of this role is to assist with global research and insights for Amplifi Global and the wider dentsu International network. The co-ordination and preparation of multi-market research, including on advertising spend, media price inflation, media costs as well as ad hoc projects. The role will be responsible for understanding data, data structures, as well as general marketing technologies. The role must be able to assist in taking aggregated data and structure it into meaningful and insightful reporting.
The difference you will make
- Assisting the Research Director with all global market research project requirements from Amplifi Global and the wider dentsu International network.
- Supporting the Research Director with the dentsu Global Ad Spend Forecasts Report – a key thought leadership piece released externally.
- Assisting with the data collection, consolidation, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. Desktop research to supplement report findings using databases such as SMI, Statista. The production and editing of the full report.
- Supporting Amplifi Global with other multi-market research projects including The Global Media Price Inflation Report, Global Media Cost Comparison, Global Media Landscapes.
- Delivering fact-based insights to senior management for strategic business development.
- Assisting with the evolution of research and insights at Amplifi Global.
- Assisting with the commercialisation of global market research at Amplifi Global including the pitching of new business in this area.
What you will bring
- Education to degree level in a numerical subject, ideally Economics, Statistics, Science subject (Chemistry/Physics), Mathematics, Data Science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programmes essential: Excel (Advanced), Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Ideally, experience of business data analytics tools such as Power BI, interest in/experience of automation of data processes and data modelling.
- Strong analytical skills, high level of numeracy
- Able to easily identify and understand trends in data, provide actionable insights. Investigate variances in data, check data for accuracy at every stage.
