Department Overview Motorola Solutions Europe and AMEA Government Field Marketing department is part of the international marketing organisation responsible for the Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa sub-regions. The international marketing team has sub-teams focussed on specific marketing areas for channel, field, direct, campaigns, solutions, operations and events, who together drive brand awareness, account based and demand generation initiatives for the mission critical solutions that we provide to our customers. This is a high-performing, fast moving and dynamic team with a focus on data-driven marketing and return on marketing investment, achieving results through a blend of creativity and marketing technology.

Job Description
The Government Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is the local marketing champion, who owns the relationship between the Direct UK sales team, Customer Insights Marketing, Digital Marketing and Product Management teams. The FMM is responsible for proactively initiating and developing the overall annual Marketing Plans and budgets in alignment and cooperation with the direct sales team. The plan will be delivered by working in partnership with the Customer Marketing, Digital Marketing and Product teams.
The Government Field Marketing Manager for UK & Ireland will:
- Develop and implement effective umbrella marketing strategy and tactical marketing plan of activities for the region in alignment with priorities of Country and Sales Managers in support of overall business objectives.
- Develop the marketing budget, rolling-up programs and providing concise reports that outline how the marketing initiatives were executed against budgets.
- Drive cohesiveness within field marketing (direct customers).
- Understand the strategic positioning and market share by product and vertical.
- Have a full understanding and communication of the Motorola Solutions technology ecosystem and product portfolio, drivers for management, sales, and customers, including competitive, market, business and economic information
- Maintain ROI measurements and draft recommendations for change (if needed) to drive growth in the country or region.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers and customers and report directly to senior management.
- The effective management of the marketing budget.
- We expect you to be an influencer and expert on your respective territory.
Basic Requirements
You will hold a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about modern marketing solutions.
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a field marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing or demand generation role and a track record of working directly with a sales organisation.
- Bachelor degree or similar marketing qualification required.
- Experience in a B2B marketing environment.
- Deep understanding of direct focused Marketing requirements.
- Familiar with effective account-based marketing approaches
- Marcom experience, including events management.
- Experience with online and offline marketing activities and programs with knowledge of current trends, media and tools
- Demonstrated regional/international experience interacting with suppliers,
- partners, customers, channel,- identifying direct business’s needs and aligning these with business strategy.
- Agency or vendor management.
- Strong communicator, comfortable with presentations and with prior experience in developing messaging, positioning, managing content and website
- Posses a creative spark as expressed in ideas for content, messaging, activity and creative design within a defined brand envelope

- Experienced in working closely with senior sales management.

The position can be remote or located in the Motorola Solutions, London office in central London. Periodical work from the London office is to be expected.
The successful candidate must have a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle that they are prepared to use for work purposes (travel expenses outside of commuting will be reimbursed). Some international travel may be required.
