Job Description

Job title: Graduate Admin Attendance

Company: Prospero Teaching

Job description: Job description

We are specifically working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Blackley, who are working exclusively with ourselves to provide a graduate admin for attendance to work with them for the upcoming academic year. This is a role that will start in September 2023 and will be on going, could also go permanent.

This is a brilliant chance to get involved in a school that puts the students first with a warm, happy, and safe environment. The staff and students have a sense of pride in their diverse culture and celebrate this with a culture day, which focuses on the different backgrounds that make their community better. The students take on extra responsibility demonstrating their maturity. This includes school council, being a prefect or a librarian. The school also has a strong community spirit with a ‘community fridge’, which connects them with the wider area. The leaders of the school constantly raise their expectations of students which has created an improvement across the school. The student also supports its staff in all aspects with CPD to make sure they are always developing.

A graduate role for someone that wants to experience a school environment and gain an understanding of school systems. The school will provide training to help you understand your role. This is a role for an admin member that will be overseeing attendance, requiring you to call parents and teachers to keep track of the students’ movements. The position needs a confident individual that is comfortable at dealing with issues that can happen in schools. An understanding of Excel would also be helpful to track attendance.
