As a Graduate Research Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our research insights. Your contributions will be valued and encouraged from the very beginning, as you’ll be working on live projects for well-known dynamic brands in industries such as Technology/Social Media, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Healthcare, and more.
What will I be doing?
Creative Excellence is an entrepreneurial division, looking for highly talented individuals who are interested in being a part of a dynamic and energised team. Our Graduate Research Executives are integral to the success of our business and our clients’ businesses.
We work with clients through different stages of the creative development process including:
- Improving the creative idea or concept
- Testing early stage or final versions of the ad to optimise before airing;
- Recommending changes to better the effectiveness of clients’ ads
- Assessing how well the ad performs once live, and if it is working in the way the client intended
Your key responsibilities will be to support quantitative research studies from start to finish, including:
- Writing questionnaires and checking they are scripted correctly;
- Managing and overseeing fieldwork including data processing and sample quality control;
- Checking data tables and overall data quality;
- Helping prepare presentations for clients, thinking about how we can build insightful narratives from our datasets and deliver our conclusions in a visually engaging way;
- Acting as a key point of contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders (for example, our Data Processing, Finance, fieldwork, online scripters, coders, etc.)
What do I need to bring with me?
- A genuine interest in quantitative market research and passion for media, advertising and brand strategy
- A natural curiosity about the world we live in and an intrigue for human behaviour
- Meticulous attention to detail – you thrive in the details to deliver accurate outputs
- Excellent time management and organisational skills – you are able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor to suit the specific audience or message
- Good Hands-on project management skills
- High level of numeracy – not only do you understand numbers and how they apply in a range of situations, you see the greater purpose and true value it could deliver
- Proficient and savvy with MS Office; in particular, Excel and PowerPoint are a must
- Positive thinker with a can do, solution-focused attitude
- Self-motivated and confident with the ability to work independently when required

About the Team:
The Creative Excellence Service Line helps our clients attain best-in-class advertising that drives business results. We do this by aiding Creative Development (help with creating advertising), Creative Assessment (help with assessing advertising and providing guidance to improve it) and Creative In-Market (ad tracking once the advertising is launched).
