Job description: OverviewAs a Graduate Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to rotate around various projects that directly contribute to the products created for customers. You will be responsible for supporting and contributing to all aspects of the delivery lifecycle, meaning you will be addressing real-world challenges.Are you ready to be part of the future? You will be joining large, multi-skilled teams to develop your technical skills.What you will do:

  • Develop and test software on product creation and customer-facing projects.
  • Operate in a DevOps environment, contributing to all aspects of the delivery lifecycle.
  • Write and deliver code for components under the guidance of more experienced developers.
  • Write automation test cases for continuous testing of the products.
  • Design and influence the direction of future solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of coding guidelines and best practices.
  • Learn requirement analysis and design techniques.

For the different roles:

  • Software Architects should be creative, innovative, and analytical.
  • Software Developers should be able to write and understand code and be proficient in a language such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript, working in DevOps teams.
  • Cloud Engineers need to be familiar with major cloud platforms.

Who you are

  • Must have a degree or working towards a degree at Hons level in an IT/Engineering discipline.
  • Must obtain your degree by September 2024.
  • Must have less than 12 months’ post graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without the need for a work permit / sponsorship
  • Working knowledge in any software programming language.
  • Provide examples of creating a potential solution to a problem. i.e. Design Thinking or Prototyping.
