We are delighted to be recruiting a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a well-established and successful engineering business who specialise in the design, fabrication, and erection of a variety of steel framed buildings/structures that include both portal frames and stick and beam projects.
The successful Graduate Structural Engineer will join the existing Engineering team and work on a variety of projects whilst receiving on the job training and developing skills and experience to serve as a foundation for future progression within the business.
Graduate Structural Engineer Duties will evolve as you progress but will include:
- Working alongside the experienced structural engineering team to learn and develop skills relevant to the role.
- Under supervision, produce structural engineering calculations for steel section sizes, frame design and connection details. Hot and cold rolled steel.
- Communicating with drawing office and other departments as required.
Graduate Structural Engineer requirements:
- Professional Engineering qualification
- Interest in pursuing a career in steelwork design/engineering.
- Good organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Good time keeping.
- Live in/within a commutable distance of the office nr Bromsgrove / Worcester.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis – NO sponsorship is available.
