Job description: Are you a recent UK based graduate with a subject specialism in English, Maths or Science? Do you have a passion for educating young people in your specialist subject, and a desire to find a full-time tutoring role ASAP?We are currently working with a highly regarded secondary academy based in the Manchester area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally outgoing Graduate Tutor to their support department in a full-time role for the academic year.In this role as a Graduate Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & group support to students struggling with their academic progression, whilst also supporting students who may be struggling with exam stress outside of the classroom.Find out more about this brilliant Gradate Tutor role in Manchester below!Graduate Tutor – Role Information:
- Graduate Tutor
- Providing 1:1 & group GCSE support to Year 11 students in English, Maths or Science
- Focusing support sessions around academic weak points of students
- Located in Manchester
- Monday to Friday role – October 2024 to July 2025
- Paid up to £500 per week during term time
- Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Graduate Tutor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:2 UK based degree within a core subject or equivalent.
- Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
- Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to keep young people engaged and proactive
- *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
Graduate Tutor – The School:
- OFSTED graded ‘Good’ secondary school
- Passionate about the all-round progression of their pupils
- Varied academic ability across Year 11 student demographic
- History of working with talented graduate teaching support
