Job description: Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.While the work varies from team to team, our key requirements don’t: you must be well organised, extremely helpful and resourceful, and able to use your initiative. You’ll understand that what you do is important, and impacts on your team, the department, and the wider business.Reporting to the Group Finance Systems Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the provision of high quality support and administration across financial applications in line with group policies and procedures.You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the Finance Systems Support team provide the required support to the finance teams across all of our financial systems
  • Ensuring finance systems controls are maintained
  • Tracking and understanding issues experienced by users via KPI reporting
  • Driving improvements based on learnings from user issues including the provision of training
  • Ensuring that good communication is maintained with the user base
  • Ensuring that system administrative tasks are completed in line with the Group’s financial calendar
  • Supporting with testing required to ensure that integrity is maintained across our systems
  • Completing system user audits

What you’ll need?To be successful in the role, we are looking for:

  • A good understanding of finance processes and procedures
  • Prior experience in finance systems support and administration is required
  • COINS ERP+ knowledge is desirable
  • Pro-active and able to work on own initiative
  • Focus on continuous improvement
  • Analytical approach with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
