Role Purpose
To assist the GSE Manager in the day-to-day running of the GSE Team and to Improve and sustain a high level of GSE operational performance, ensuring the equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of equipment inspection, minor repairs, and liaising with our service providers and airport authority.
What you will be doing
- Responsible for daily defecting reporting and the removal of defective equipment from the ramp and ensuring equipment is sound cosmetically with correct logos in place, and washed regularly.
- To be proactive in all areas by forward planning and taking responsibility for the job in hand and carry out minor GSE repairs.
- Ensure we are leaders in housekeeping on the airfield, with equipment being parked within designated parking bays and FOD is removed from vehicles.
- To actively give support, guidance, and encouragement to your work colleagues.
- To process in a professional and confident way any questions, queries, or grievances and other reasonable duty as requested.

What we are looking for
- Experience and Knowledge of aviation services, in particular, ramp handling and GSE operations would be an advantage.
- Experience in liaising with service providers and suppliers and able to work with a multifunctional workforce and adjust to the local condition of the station.
- Well organised with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, able to work on their own initiative to specific deadlines, have the ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
- Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and develop staff and ability to work within a pressured environment.
- Must be able to work all shifts Day/Night
