A wonderful 100% remote working opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to join the senior leadership team of an award-winning global association of accounting and business advisory firms. Reporting directly to the Executive Director for Communications and Strategy, the successful applicant will lead a team of 3. With responsibility for achieving digital engagement scorecard targets and managing the budget allocated to communications, you will lead all aspects of marketing strategy and execution, brand building, member communication and engagement, PR and member onboarding. The Head of Communications will develop the annual marketing and communication plan, maximising the lead generation driven by brand and digital channels. Managing relevant external agencies and service providers, you will take ownership of the development of marketing and communication tools, including the website and social media, ensuring the enhancement of both members and prospective members overall digital experience and organic engagement. You will need to develop the association’s PR strategy, maintaining relationships with key contacts in the trade media and identifying opportunities for articles which build the association’s reputation. The role holder will also take responsibility for brand standards and enhancement and for promoting member thought leadership. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with extensive experience operating at senior leadership level to lead a marketing and communications function in a global environment to include demonstrable success in managing international membership programmes, customer experience management and retention and acting as the customer champion within an organisation. A strong leader and effective communicator, the Head of Communications will possess a strong understanding of the overall digital marketing ecosystem, including channel specific best practice, technology and data solutions and experience of working with CMS and using CRM systems to enable both communications and marketing.
