Your team
Marketers for the boohoo group have a reputation for being disruptors. We like that. When it comes to all things brand awareness and e-commerce, we’re not afraid to be brave. Each of our teams is the voice of their own brand, so we utilise creative campaigns, social media and influencer outreach, PR & Comms, and events. On the e-commerce side of things, we drive traffic to our online stores and generate sales through affiliate marketing, paid media, CRM and SEO. Everything goes towards achieving our mission to be a global fashion e-commerce leader.
What you’ll be doing
We are looking for an awesomely qualified, hungry Head of Digital to develop acquisition and digital brand strategies and performance across biddable/paid media, affiliate marketing, CRM and SEO. In addition to being a rare expert across the aforementioned areas, you’ll be able to manage a substantial digital budget, have a can-do attitude and be a great communicator at a senior level of the organisation.
This hands-on role requires daily performance monitoring and optimisation to ensure that aggressive business goals are met. You will be highly analytical and provide leadership and support to your team and key stakeholders within the business such as Business Insights, Trading, Brand Marketing, Operations, Finance and eCommerce. This is as much a brand function as it is an acquisition and direct response one so it will be immersed in the planning and delivery of through-the-line campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Driving Brand awareness, audience growth & amplification
- Customer Retention
- Quality assessing campaigns, tracking and reporting
- Effectively tracking and managing budgets across digital
- Proactively identifying optimisations and testing new functionality to improve performance and drive ROI
- Understanding the role each channel plays in the customer journey and optimising the channel for its objective
- Good communicator
- Regularly and consistently tracking the ROI of all growth campaigns
- Staying at the forefront of competitors’ strategies and tactics
- Staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, ad releases/optimisations, and tools for improvement of current and future initiatives
- Identifying new paid search opportunities for specific brands, product types and audiences
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Management skills & developing a team
- In-depth experience in analysing audience data, traffic analytics and channel performance, and recommending improvements
- Proven experience in maximising the ROI of team spend
- Experience in training and embedding SEM best practice within a team
- Highly analytical – ability to drill into campaigns to assess performance and effectiveness
- Highly innovative – staying up-to-date with latest SEM tools, platforms and important algorithm changes
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, GTM and related tracking technologies
- In-depth knowledge of CRM
- Excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail
