Our Finance Consulting Team provides end to end transformation support to CEOs, CFOs and Directors of the Finance in the NHS to optimize the value delivered by their finance and broader corporate services / back-office functions and to improve their contribution to the overall performance of their organization.
The purpose of this role is to develop and lead the Finance Transformation Consulting Team including leading sales, capability development and overseeing delivery. This is an opportunity to hire and grow your own team as it expands and refine the approach to Finance transformation in the NHS, developing methodologies and leading practice.

This role is hybrid variable working, you will be required to travel around 2 – 3 days a week to our offices and client sites across the UK, your contractual location can be at any of our offices based in – London, Manchester, Leeds or Bristol, the remaining days can be working from home or at your contractual office.
What you’ll be doing;
The right person will have skills in technology-enabled Finance and corporate services transformation with experience of selling, designing, and implementing technology-enabled finance and corporate services transformation. As such broad experience across all core areas of the Finance Function are required.
We help the NHS transform finance and broader corporate service delivery. This includes Finance and business services operating model transformation (service and interaction models, organisation design, process change, shared services, sourcing etc); creating value from technology to enable operating model transformation (Cloud ERP, Robotics Process Automation and AI, EPM), culture change, skills development.
Your core responsibilities will be;
- As part of the Consulting Leadership Team, influencing, developing, and delivering the consulting strategy.
- Leading the Finance Consulting Team responsible for team and people development.
- Leading finance consulting business development and sales including development of the go to market plan, developing relationships, leading bids.
- Leading a portfolio of finance consulting projects.
- Leading the development of finance consulting propositions methodologies, tools and templates.
- You are likely to currently be working at Director level or an experienced Senior Manager in a consulting business.
What you will bring;
- You will have in-depth experience of being a Management Consultant from a recognized firm, which includes working with the Public Sector.
- Experience of having innovatively led and developed Finance and Corporate Services Transformation Value Propositions and Methodologies.
- Experience of leading complex finance transformation programmes.
- Experience of developing consulting strategies.
- Experience of developing go to market plans and leading managing consulting sales of
£3m per annum. * Evidence of personal business development success.
- Experience of building, leading, and developing teams.
It would be great if you had;
ACCA or CIMA Qualification.

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent
Location: Hybrid Variable – contracted to any one of these locations – London, Manchester, Leeds or Bristol.

Salary: Up to £115,000 – Potentially flexible for a highly skilled candidate.
