Job description: Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Programme ManagerOverview: My client’s Learning & Development team operates a unique offering of learning & development consisting of industry-leading business, management, and leadership development programmes. We’re seeking a Senior L&D Programme Manager to oversee internal programmes and learning initiatives for the firm. This role will also be integral in managing many operational aspects of the learning function.You will manage a closeknit team and report directly into the Head of function.Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational aspects of internal programmes and initiatives within the L&D function.
  • Support annual business planning alongside other Senior L&D team members.
  • Handle scheduling, reporting, and quality assurance for learning activities.
  • Manage L&D requests, from scoping training needs to implementation.
  • Ensure effective evaluation of all learning activities and maintain the Learning Management System.
  • Budget management, including planning, recording spend, and managing external provider invoices.
  • Lead and deliver multiple complex projects within specified timeframes.
  • Oversee traditional and reverse mentoring programmes.
  • Supervise a small team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Review and enhance service delivery to meet client needs.
  • Manage logistics for training sessions and external facilitators.
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in a similar role within professional services, with familiarity in partnership dynamics.
  • Experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of the learning cycle and operational management.
  • Project management experience and proficiency with learning management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and support junior team members.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in handling diverse stakeholder demands.
  • Competencies in teamwork, integrity, client-centricity, and driving high standards.
