Healthcare Assistant | Surgical Ward | | Sutton (London Zone 5) | Spire St Anthony’s Hospital | £ 23,497.50 per annum | Full Time Hours including long days and nights | 2 weekends a per month
St Anthony’s Hospital is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Wards Team. This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading private Healthcare providers and excel your career. You must be willing to work long days, night shifts and work on a weekend rotation. Please only apply if you can commit to these hours.

We have six operating theatres covering a wide range of specialities and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting the Surgical Wards in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who we’re looking for
- Previous experience of working as an HCA in a hospital is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
- Must be able to work long days, night shifts and 2 weekends a month
