Job description: Seven Healthcare are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Redruth, UK.

Job Description:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of healthcare professionals. It is a role that requires a strong commitment to the health and wellbeing of all patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting patients with daily activities like personal hygiene, eating, moving etc.

2. Taking and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and heart rate.

3. Providing emotional support to patients and their families.

4. Assisting healthcare professionals during patient examinations.

5. Cleaning and sanitising patient areas.

6. Monitoring patients’ progress and reporting any significant changes to the healthcare professionals.

7. Helping patients to manage discomfort and distress.

8. Maintaining patient confidentiality.

9. Adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Previous experience in a similar role would be a plus.

3. Nursing or health-related qualifications would be beneficial.

4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

5. Flexibility in scheduling, as shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

6. Must have a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
