As a Healthcare Support Worker in the Radiology Department at our Taunton Hospital, you need to have great communication skills with the patients, other staff members and Clinicians, as well as a good telephone manner, and be familiar with computers. Although some of the role is Admin, there is also plenty of patient contact and clinical exposure. Ideally we’re looking for a level 3 candidate but will consider level 2 (healthcare assistant) if you have relevant experience.
As a Healthcare Support Worker in Radiology, you will:
Put the patient’s needs and their experience first
Carry out administrative duties relating to clinical tasks
Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact
Work as part of the small, dedicated Radiology team
Input into departmental improvement and progress
Be flexible to the possibility of helping in other departments throughout the hospital
Additional Information:
Previous experience in Radiology desirable but not essential
Based in Radiology but has the potential to work in other areas around the hospital
